HOMEOWNERS have been warned after a spate of burglaries that has seen bicycles and tools stolen.
Police in Fareham have reminded residents of Swanwick and Locks Heath to take precautions after a rise in burglary reports.
The force says it is conducting enquiries after a number of reports stated that suspects had entered their outbuildings and sheds.

Bicycles have then be removed, as well as tools and other items of property.
Taking to social media, a police spokesperson said: "We would therefore like to remind people of the importance of securing your properties, particularly during the warmer nights, when many people may have windows open or doors insecure.
