THE SINKHOLE that opened up in Southampton city centre last week is being repaired, the council has confirmed.
The investigation into the cause of the sinkhole in Wilton Avenue is now complete

Works to repair it began yesterday.
The road closure will remain in place until repairs are complete.
Southampton City Council's highways team will update when the road is reopening.
Motorists are being asked to plan ahead due to the road closure.
Investigation works in Wilton Avenue have now concluded and repairs are able to begin from today (Tuesday 28th).
