ANOTHER Southampton road has been closed after a sinkhole opened up in the middle of the street.
Southampton City Council's highways team revealed in a tweet that Kent Road has been closed for "urgent subsidence investigations".
Vehicles are currently unable to access the road via St Denys Road and a diversion has been put in place.
It comes just one week after a similar incident at Wilton Avenue where a cordon was set up due to a sinkhole.

Repairs have since began on that street.
It is not known when Kent Road will reopen but currently vehicles are unable to pass the cordon which is blocking both sides of the road.
In a tweet from Southampton Travel, it said: "We will issue further updates as they become available, but please plan any journeys around the area accordingly."
