A SOUTHAMPTON man sporting a pair of snug budgie smugglers at a popular festival has gone viral – and he could appear on a billboard.

Harry Austin, 26, attended the Bournemouth 7s sports festival earlier this month wearing nothing but budgie smugglers.

Pictures and videos of him dancing around the festival in his revealing attire circulated online and he was even scouted by the official Budgy Smugglers UK company for their infamous competition, Ordinary Rig.

The assistant restaurant manager said: “When I go to a festival I become a different person as I can be who I want.

“So, I attended the festival in my budgie smugglers and hotpants.

“Within an hour I met the guys from the Budgy Smugglers stall, while in my gold hotpants.

“I swapped them for budgie smugglers and from 8am to 2am each day I just did laps of the festival and everyone saw me wearing them.

“The CEO of Bournemouth 7s posted a video of me and a couple of days later he made a post saying I was “an absolute legend.”

“I became the fun guy of the festival and have been offered VVIP tickets for life.”

Harry was persuaded to enter the Ordinary Rig Budgy Smuggler competition and is down to the final 10.

He said: “Going viral is not what I really expected as I wanted to have a good time.

“It turns out everyone thought it was hilarious.

“The competition final should be a good laugh and it is nothing I have ever done before.”
