POLICE are investigating reports of a knifepoint robbery in Southampton.

The victim was targeted by three men in South East Road, between its junctions with Pinegrove Road and Middle Road.

Their wallet and mobile phone were stolen in the incident, which occurred between 11pm and midnight on June 29.

Posting on social media Southampton Cops said: "Southampton East Neighbourhood Team are investigating a report of a knifepoint robbery.

"It occurred in South East Road, between the junctions of Pinegrove Road and Middle Road.

There were three suspects described as white males, aged between 16-20 years old, slim build. One was wearing a dark blue tracksuit and another wore black trackie bottoms with black hoodie with red trim. Unsure what the third was wearing."
