A SOUTHAMPTON boy caught carrying a Stanley knife has been hauled before the courts.
The 15-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was caught with the blade in Portland Terrace earlier this year.
Appearing at Southampton Youth Court, the teenager admitted one charge of carrying a bladed article in public.
He was handed a youth rehabilitation order which requires him to comply with approved education arrangements and attend appointments with an officer at arranged times.
He was also banned from associating with three people for a period of six months and told to pay a victim surcharge of £22.
