A MAN who assaulted a PSCO and damaged Southampton shops has been jailed.

Robert Musgrove damaged the shop GAME in the Marlands Shopping Centre then damaged the Co-op bank on Above Bar Street on January 22.

On January 29, the 49-year-old assaulted a PCSO in Southampton and then damaged a column of the Civic Centre to the value of £60.

Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, he admitted one charge of common assault on an emergency worker and three charges of criminal damage.

Musgrove, of Birch Close, Southampton, was jailed for a total of 28 days.
