A man in his 30s has been rushed to hospital after being found with serious injuries near Southampton city centre.
Police were called out to reports of an injured man in London Road at 9.55am on Wednesday.
A large cordon has been set up, covering the full length of the road from its junctions with Cumberland Place and Bellevue Road.

The road has also been closed, with members of the public urged to avoid the area.
A block of flats next to London Road Brew House has also been taped off.
Ten officers and seven police cars remain at the scene.
Hampshire police and South Central Ambulance Service have been contacted for more information.
