SOUTHAMPTON Hindus have gathered to celebrate half a century of history.

He said: “The society is going back into 50 years of history.

"It began in 1971 and had its 50th last year but because of covid, we decided to do it this year.

“In 1984 the temple moved here and today we are going to have lots of celebrations, dancing, and singing... It is our ongoing history and it's really exciting to hit our milestone.”
