THESE are the Southampton criminals who have been jailed in July. 

Paedophiles, drug dealers, burglars and sex offenders are among those handed jail sentences by judges in the city.

Here's a round up of some of the cases heard in Southampton last month:

Carla Dorward

Carla Dorward, 42, broke into the homes of pensioners to steal items such as jewellery and bank cards.

She admitted two burglary charges, theft from home and six charges of frauds by false representation.

Dorward was sentenced to three years and eight months in prison.

Jordan Larcombe

Jordan Larcombe, 26, of Summit Way, is back behind bars after breaching a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO). 

He was handed the SHPO in 2017 after he was convicted of sexually abusing two teenage girls on the Isle of Wight.

Under the condition of the order, Jordan was prohibited from using any phone or device capable of accessing the internet unless it can retain the internet history.

On June 14 this year, he breached the order by using the 'disappearing message' facility. 

Jordan was jailed for two years for breaching the order.

Agron Elezaj, Amarildo Sulaj, Rexhino Koci and Damiano Saraci

Daily Echo: The cannabis factory in Pitt Road.The cannabis factory in Pitt Road.

Agron Elezaj, 27, of Jack Clow Road, London; Amarildo Sulaj, 23, of Stanhope Road, Doncaster; and Rexhino Koci, 26, and Damiano Saraci, 30, both of no fixed address, were jailed after police raided a cannabis factory in Pitt Road with 1,048 plants. 

Sulaj and Koci both pleaded guilty to playing a significant role in the production of a class B drug while Saraci and Elezaj pleaded to playing a lesser role.

Sulaj was sentenced to four years and four months in prison and Koci received a four-year sentence.

Saraci and Elezaj were both jailed for 20 months.

Paul James

Paul James, of International Way, Southampton, stole five items worth £17.45 from the Co-op store on Spring Road on January 10. 

The 31-year-old also assaulted two people on the same road. 

James admitted theft, assault by beating and common assault. 

He was jailed for a total of 12 weeks.

Chorley Laxton 

Chorley Laxton, of Taranto Road, stabbed his neighbour during a violent confrontation.

The 21-year-old admitted unlawful wounding and was jailed for 20 months.

The court heard the attack broke out after the defendant threw a plant pot through his neighbour's window in response to a remark that had been made about his late mother.

Matthew Bedwell

Matthew Bedwell, of Mullen Close, Southampton was jailed for sexually assaulting a woman.

The 29-year-old admitted attacking his victim in the Bevois area of the city back in March.

Damian Dorobisz

Damian Dorobisz was caught with thousands of pounds worth of drugs and £4,200 in cash in his car.

The 42-year-old painter and decorator was pulled over in a black BMW on Bellevue Road.

Dorobisz, of Milner Court, admitted three charges of possession with intent to supply drugs, and possessing criminal property.

He was jailed for two years and nine months.

Sonny Horgan

Sonny Horgan was pulled over after officers smelled cannabis coming from his car.

Instead of taking the car key out, the 21-year-old turned the ignition on and fled the scene.

By doing so, he dragged the policeman, caught on the car door, several metres.

Horgan, of Orchard Way in Dibden Purlieu, was jailed for 15 months and banned from driving for three and a half years.
