A MOTORCYCLIST has been rushed to hospital after a crash between a car and a motorbike on the M27.
Traffic was held between junction 8 for Sholing and junction 7 for Thornhill after the crash at around 9pm on Friday.
Police were called to the incident which took place at junction 8.

A motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries and the motorway remained closed whilst emergency services responded.
The air ambulance was also in attendance, according to reports.
However, it has since been confirmed that the injured person was taken to hospital by road.
The motorway reopened at around 3am.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the collision.
