VISITORS to a popular Hampshire country park can now also enjoy pizzas thanks to the arrival of a new restaurant.

A historic space at Royal Victoria Country Park has been extensively refurbished into The Cedar Rooms restaurant.

The refurbishment of the space will see park-goers enjoy handmade pizzas on the former Netley Hospital site.

Leader of Hampshire County Council, Cllr Rob Humby, opened the restaurant last month.

Local products on offer include Jude’s Ice Cream from Twyford, pork pies from Jake’s Artisan Foods based in Petersfield, Sunbeam Watercress located in Romsey, and Mozzo Coffee roasted in Southampton.
