A SOUTHAMPTON woman caught drink driving has been banned from the roads.

Elisa Ferriera-Cordiero was caught drink driving a VW Golf on Archers Road on May 22.

The 35-year-old was found to have 96 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, exceeding the legal limit of 35 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, she admitted one charge of drink driving.

Ferriera-Cordiero, of Thornbury Avenue, Southampton, was disqualified from driving for 24 months and was fined £433.

She was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £43 and court costs of £85.
