AN EVENT to empower businesswomen is coming to Southampton this month.
'Ultimate Girly Day' will be a fun-packed day to honour the accomplishments of Southampton entrepreneurs.
The free networking event will take place on Saturday, August 6 at XOXO bar in Bedford Place.
Organised by LuLu Events, it aims to bring together women from 'all walks of life to showcase their talent'.
Lucy Maynard, the owner of LuLu Events, said: "I’m excited to launch and be hosting this one-of-a-kind event in support of women in business. Many local influencers have already pledged their support, and it’s shaping up to be an inspiring day.
The Cookie Queen Southampton, Business is Blooming, Sugar Surprises, The Babe Clinic Academy, Hair by Ella, and Lauren Scriven MUA, are some businesses that will be attending the event.
Tom Dyer, director of XOXO, said: "We’re really looking forward to hosting the Ultimate Girly Day event. As a business leader within the city, I’m delighted to show support to our local women business owners and am looking forward to the big day."
