A PROLIFIC shoplifter who targeted the same store to steal cosmetics has been jailed.

Lisa Plested appeared in court charged with seven counts of theft after a string of offences in Fareham.

Between February 4 and March 19 last year, she visited a Boots store on six different occasions and stole hundreds of pounds of cosmetics.

On February 5 this year, the stole wash gel and pods from a McColl's store in Fareham.

At Southampton Magistrates' Court, she was found guilty of seven counts of theft and two counts of failing to surrender to court.

Plested, of High Street, Gosport, was jailed for 16 weeks and was ordered to pay compensation of £1,311.98
