A SOUTHAMPTON drink driver has been banned from the roads.

Adam Sokol was caught drink driving on Bevois Valley Road on June 1.

The 32-year-old was found to have 111 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, more than the 35 limit.

Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court he admitted one charge of drink driving.

Sokol, of Harrison Road, Southampton, was disqualified from driving for 26 months.

He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £95 and court costs of £85.
