Healthwatch Southampton are looking for new members to join its board.

Healthwatch Southampton is an independent organisation, helping to improve health and social care in Southampton, by ensuring services are listening and responding to the needs and ideas of residents in Southampton.

The strategy group set the direction; identify the operational priorities; and broadly direct the activities of Healthwatch Southampton while ensuring it has a strong independent voice.

The group meets once a month and the positions are unpaid.

Harry Dymond, chair of Healthwatch Southampton, said: “We are keen to hear from people in Southampton who might be interested in our group to help us raise awareness of the work of Healthwatch Southampton and ensure organisations continue to listen to patients and unpaid carers when delivering services.”
