A WOMAN's body has been found at a popular Southampton park.
Emergency services raced to Mayflower Park after being alerted to reports of a sudden death.
A body was found in the water shortly after 9pm last night.
According to police, her death is currently being treated as unexplained and identification is yet to take place.
A police spokesperson said: “We are still in the very early stages of our investigation, and officers remain on-scene to carry out initial enquiries”.
