A CAR burst into flames in a supermarket car park last night.
At around 8.30pm on Wednesday firefighters rushed to Asda Chandler's Ford, just off Bournemouth Road.
The front of a black hatchback was engulfed in flames and crews worked hard to extinguish the blaze.
Witnesses said they could see smoke billowing into the sky.

Shopper Linda Taylor said: "Car on fire next to my car.
"Heard my reg on Tannoy and went outside... I saw the car next to my car was on fire.
"Luckily the wind was blowing away from my car and was undamaged."
A spokesperson from Hampshire and Isle Of Wight Fire and Rescue Service said: "One fire engine attended at 8.30pm and put out a fire involving the engine compartment of a car.
"A small area of the car park was damaged due to the heat.
"The crew left shortly after 9.30pm."
