FIFTY years of promoting women's opportunities has been marked with a party.
The Winchester branch of the British Federation of Women Graduates celebrated its 50 year milestone in style.

Members of the BFWG travelled from all over the country to mark the occasion with the Winchester branch.

The group gathered in the garden of WWG’s president Reefat Drabu for eating, drinking, talking and dancing.
A spokeswoman said: "The women graduates were thankful to meet again after years of restrictions imposed by the pandemic. While much has changed within the 50 years of the organisation, the friendship within the BFWG has remained consistent."
WWG meets locally for lectures and social events, offering unique opportunities for effective action, friendship, networking and companionship through meeting like-minded people. In line with the BFWG ethos, WWG is offering a £250 prize to the best performing 2nd year undergraduate on the Cyber Security BSc course at the University of Winchester.
