AN HISTORIC Hampshire pub has announced its reopening after being shut for three years.

The Hunters Inn, in Swanmore, declared the reopening in a Facebook post on Tuesday, August 16.

The pub, which dates back to the 1700s was taken over by Heartstone Inns in 2018 for a sum of £900,000, but closed a year later, with landlords saying it was 'uneconomic' to run.
