SOMETHING A Lidl bit exciting arrived in Eastleigh today.

The bargain supermarket reopened the doors to its Coles Close store to customers earlier following a refurbishment.

Lidl GB’s regional head of property, James Mitchell said: “We would like to thank the local community for their patience and understanding whilst we have carried out these improvement works at our store in Eastleigh.

“We are delighted to have opened the store once again to residents and deliver an even greater range of our fresh, high quality and affordable produce as well as an enhanced shopping experience.”

The store boasts rows upon rows of discount food and drink, with the popular middle aisles sandwiched between it all.

An extensive bakery lies at the back of the store and is home to a wide range of lip-smacking pastries, breads, and sweet treats.

Frozen foods can also be perused in large freezers while a whole aisle is dedicated to drinks- from soft drinks to alcoholic beverages.

The supermarket’s new-look store will now provide “an enhanced instore experience for shoppers” in Eastleigh and further afield.

The refurbishment of this store is part of Lidl’s ongoing £1.3bn investment across the country in 2021 and 2022.
