A MAN was taken to hospital after being attacked by three men outside a nightclub.

The assault occurred on London Road in the early hours of Saturday (August 20) morning.

The man in his 20s sustained facial injuries and attended Southampton General Hospital for treatment.

He was allegedly assaulted by a group of people following an argument.

Police officers are now appealing for information following the attack.

A spokesperson said: “We have conducted initial enquiries, including reviewing local CCTV, but are keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the area at the time, or might have mobile phone or dash-cam footage of the incident.

“One of the men believed to be involved has been described as white, between 5ft 6ins – 6ft 1ins tall, short dark brown hair and wearing t-shirt, black jeans and white trainers.

“Is this you? Or do you perhaps remember seeing someone in the area matching this description?”
