A HAMPSHIRE teenager suffered head injuries after his van smashed into a tree. Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash, on Springles Lane in Whiteley, at 9.50pm on Sunday.
Fire crews cut free an 18-year-old man from Totton who was driving the maroon-coloured Ford Transit van.
He was taken to Southampton General Hospital but has since discharged himself. His passenger, an 18-year-old woman from Whiteley, suffered shock.
