FOUR men were last night charged with the manslaughter of a Hampshire dad of one.
Peter Lawrence died nearly three months ago after a night out at a bar in Port Solent.
Mr Lawrence, 37, who lived in Titchfield Common, had been at Lloyds No 1 bar with his sister and friends on January 5.
He died after being asked to leave the bar by security staff and an investigation, code named Operation Marco, was immediately launched.
Detectives spent the whole of yesterday quizzing four men who answered their bail after being arrested following Mr Lawrence's death on suspicion of manslaughter.
David Shaw, 22, of Phillimore Road, Southampton, Leonard Ogilvie, 48, of Church Road, Portsmouth, Nigel Harding, 45, of Rowner Close, Gosport and Michael Dawson, 25, of Somerset Avenue, Southampton, were all charged last night when they returned on bail.
The men will all appear before Portsmouth Magistrates Court on April 11.
