MUSIC students at Totton College are preparing to finish their studies on a high note this summer by staging a fundraising concert to help raise cash for a Southampton special school.

The talented students are looking to bring a variety of music styles and sounds to the Hanger Farm venue on June 11 through influences including the Rolling Stones and the Sugababes.

A final part of their BTEC music practice course, the students will take on the entire organising and running of the show as well as performing live to a huge crowd of music fans.

The concert will be in aid of Cedar School in Southampton which caters for physicallydisabled children aged from three to 16.

The event starts at 7.30pm in Hanger Farm Arts Centre, Aikman Lane, Totton.

Tickets cost £5 on the door.
