PUNTERS at a Southampton bar will be helping raise money for charity as they watch tonight's Champions League final.

Walkabout will be showing the final between Man-chester United and Chelsea and collecting donations for the Southampton-based Rose Road Association, which helps disabled children and young people.

Bar manager Lyall Parker said they hope to raise a lot of money for the charity.

He said: "A while back I promised Gary Thomasson from the Rose Road Association that if his team - Manchester United - made it to the final of the Champions League I would do some fundraising on the day at Walkabout.

"We couldn't have wished for a better result as there are now two English teams in the Champions League final, Manchester United and Chelsea, which is going to make for an awesome spectacle."

Entry to the bar is free and customers will be asked to make a donation of £2 to watch the match, which kicks off at 7.45pm.
