A NEW Korean and Japanese restaurant is soon to open on one of Eastleigh's busy streets.

Asian eatery KOKORO is expanding its offering along the south coast and will launch its new store at 23 Market Street, Eastleigh, at the end of this month.

The restaurant is known for its 'hearty soups and hand-made, scrumptious sushi'.

All of its dishes are reportedly made using fresh ingredients, and diners can also dig into chicken katsu curry, sweet chilli chicken, spicy pork, salmon teriyaki, and more.
