AN ERROR on Google is claiming that Southampton's biggest hospital is closed.
People searching for Southampton General Hospital on Google this morning have been met with a "temporarily closed" notice.
However, University Hospital Southampton has urged patients and visitors to "not be alarmed".
The hospital is open and the notice is an error on the site.

The Trust said: "We are aware of an issue with Google Maps saying Southampton General Hospital is closed.
"Please don't be alarmed - we are very much open and here for you if you need us, or if you have an appointment."
