A HUNT has been launched for two teens who broke into a school kitchen and covered it in flour.

Police were alerted to reports of vandalism at Oakwood Primary School between 10.15pm and 10.20pm last night.

Two white males, aged about 16 years-old, fled from the scene when officers arrived.

A spokesperson from the force said: “Perhaps you have a teenager who was out last night in the Oakwood Drive/Sandpiper Road area of the city?

“They didn’t happen to have baking flour on their trainers or their tracksuit bottoms, did they?

“If they did we’d appreciate a call to eliminate them from ongoing enquiries.”

Anyone with information is urged to call police quoting crime reference number 44220492875.

The school, on Sandpiper Road, has been targetted by vandals on at least seven occasions since the summer.

A group of youths is said to have caused around £4,150 worth of damage by smashing windows and damaging a bike shed.
