A WOMAN was rushed to hospital after crashing her car on her way back from a Christmas party.
Police were called out at 2.43am on Tuesday following reports of a crash on Glen Eyre Road, Southampton.
In a tweet, officers said: "The driver of this car in Southampton decided to visit some friends after being at a Christmas Party.
"They were so impaired they failed to negotiate a bend colliding with a tree.
"After a trip to Hospital we are now waiting on blood results! #ItsNotWorthTheRisk"
A police spokesperson confirmed the driver will attend a voluntary interview once the results of the blood sample have been received.
