A MAN has spoken of his shock after a car crashed into a house in Eastleigh.
David Williams, 35, was working in a house nearby when a black car mounted the pavement in Desborough Road on Thursday morning.
The oven cleaner from Bitterne didn’t witness the crash but was shocked by the incident.

David said: “I was doing a job further along the road and when I turned up, nothing had happened.
“In the space of me coming out to grab something and going back in, the accident occurred.

“It must’ve happened in less than a minute, and I was surprised by how quick it was.”
Several bricks were strewn across the car’s bonnet and front garden of the affected property.
Residents were evacuated following the crash.
David added: “I don’t think anyone was injured.
“I have never seen anything like that before and I was shocked when I saw it.
“It’s funny how after the crash, you see everyone getting their phones out as they go past.”

Hampshire police have confirmed no one was injured.
A spokesperson said: “No injuries have been reported to us and the occupants of the house have been evacuated while the building is structurally assessed.”
Officers remained at the scene throughout the day.
Eastleigh fire crews were also in attendance.
A spokesperson from Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service said: "Eastleigh crews were called shortly after midday following a car hitting a building on Desborough Road.
"The car had crashed into the bay window of a house causing damage to the brickwork.
“Crews left the scene following the stop message at 12.53pm when the incident was handed over to a structural engineer."
