A CHARITY which supports those affected by domestic abuse has raised more than £15,000 via a match funding campaign.

Supporters of Yellow Door had their donations doubled during the Big Give Campaign, which raised £15,201.25.

CEO Nicci King said: "We are very grateful for the generosity of our supporters through the Christmas Big Give Campaign.

"The additional funds will enable us to support more people who have experienced domestic and sexual abuse. This is at a time when the need for our services has never been greater."

Yellow Door has seen a huge increase in demand for its services due to the impact of the pandemic and the cost of living crisis putting additional pressure on families.
