As far as home toilets are concerned, I prefer wood.

We get enough in stores, unfitting, cold, and medical looking plastic.

Hampshire County Council are up with a problem for older people in social services, attempting replacements using occupational therapists.

And I daresay they have no ‘practice’ fitting ground.

And New Forest District Council, who threw my comfortable, wooden toilet seat away, owing to an abatement notice, cannot be contacted re their stock.

Furthermore, the naivety of people trained in the NHS and employed by social services leaves me gobsmacked. Especially in so-called services for older people.

We need a lot of warmth or heat for one thing. Surely, my insurers too have a lot to answer for, leaving me with problems I’m unable to solve myself.
