POLICE were called to a suspicious incident involving three people riding a motorbike whilst wearing balaclavas and dark clothing.

Officers dashed to Sandy Lane, Romsey, on Friday evening.

One person was arrested on suspicion of taking a motorcycle and was later released under investigation.

On the same evening police were called to a burglary, an incident involving grievous bodily harm, and an act of criminal damage.

Posting on social media Test Valley Cops said: "Officers had a very busy evening.

"Officers were deployed to a suspicious incident on Sandy Lane. Three unknown persons were spotted wearing dark clothing and balaclavas while riding a motorcycle.

"One male was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motorcycle and handling stolen goods, and we seized the motorcycle.

"The male has since been released under investigation and the owner has been contacted.

"The same evening, officers were deployed to three serious incidents.

"One incident, which was reported as a burglary, was on Fleming Avenue, North Baddesley. The second incident, reported as a GBH, was on Braishfield Road, Romsey, and the third incident, which was reported as criminal damage, was on Foster Way.

"Arrests were made and enquiries are still ongoing in relation."
