It seems as though it always been there, when in fact, it opened only 17 years ago
Dozens gathered on the evening of May 2, 2006, to celebrate the opening of Blue Keys bar and restaurant in Southampton’s Northlands Road.
Landlord Malcolm Eyres took to the stage with his band Rufus Stone to mark the opening of the venue which includes hotel rooms.
Guests included former Saint Peter Rodrigues and then-newly-crowned Miss Southampton Joanna Jones.
They were also entertained by singers a saxophonist, opera and blues bands.
