Southampton hospital is mourning the loss of two 'kind and talented' nurses killed in a crash in the Grand Canyon.

Tatiana Brandão, 30, and Raquel Moreira, 28, were on a road trip in the US when their car collided with a bus. Both were declared dead at the scene.

Originally from Portugal, the two friends had spent years planning what was supposed to be the holiday of a lifetime.

In other news, a 19-year-old man who got on a train armed with sulphuric acid has walked free from court.

Benjamin Bray was spotted in a "distressed" state with his clothes "disintegrating" at Eastleigh railway station.

Acid was leaking from a bottle in his bag with one passerby spotting "white marks on his coat".

Here's what happened when he appeared in court yesterday.

If you're looking for things to do this weekend, how about a quick trip to the South Western Arms?

The popular pub next to St Denys train station is our pub of the week.

And finally, if you like looking at fancy houses, here's one you won't want to miss.

This period home overlooking Winchester Cathedral is on the market for £1.5 million.
