DANGEROUS drivers, stalkers and sex offenders are among those who have been sentenced in Southampton in February.
Hundreds of people passed through the city's courts last month for crimes including sex attacks, a stabbing and even travelling across Europe in pursuit of an ex-girlfriend.
Below is a list of those who have been sentenced throughout February:
Andrew Brown
After breaking up with his girlfriend, 28-year-old Brown from Southampton launched a campaign of harassment spanning months.
Sending letters, flowers and cards, turning up at his partner's workplace and even following her on holiday to Copenhagen, he left his victim feeling "unsafe" and "worried".
Brown, who was said to be vulnerable after witnessing his own mother's murder at the age of 12, followed his ex on holiday after seeing a post on social media.
Rebaz Mohammed
An Iraqi national who came to the UK illegally, Mohammed had been living in a hotel in Bournemouth when he stabbed a Solent University student.
Travelling to Southampton by train, the 28-year-old took out a kitchen knife and after a short conversation, stabbed Ellis Wheeler in the back.
Mr Wheeler was rushed to hospital where he underwent surgery for a collapsed lung.
When interviewed by police, Mohammed said he had committed the offence because he wanted to be arrested and deported back to Kurdistan, Iraq.
Patryk Orlowski
Convicted sex offender Orlowski was brought back to court last month for breaching notification requirements issued when he was convicted of sexual communication with a child.
The 40-year-old of Salerno Road, Southampton failed to notify police of multiple accounts he had created on online dating sites including Plenty of Fish and Badoo.
He had previously pleaded guilty to the breach and appeared at Southampton Magistrates Court for sentencing.
Philip Packham
Perverted Packham left an elderly woman "extremely distressed" after following her home as she walked her dog in the Lordshill area.
The 69-year-old of Exford Avenue, Southampton walked into the woman's home uninvited and tried to touch her between her legs before attempting to kiss and cuddle her.
Police were called after the woman told a neighbour and Packham, who had 30 convictions for 73 offences including gross indecency with a child and indecent assault of a female under 14, was arrested.
Safiullah Safi
Delivery driver, Safi, left a cyclist with a fractured kneecap after smashing into the side of him on Trinity Road, Southampton.
A court heard how the 29-year-old of Cranbury Road failed to stop at a junction and "went straight across taking a chance that there was nothing coming" according to Judge Peter Henry.
The victim flew over the bonnet, landing on the road behind the car whilst Safi stopped the vehicle and got out.
Ashley Cocking
Violent thug, Cocking, attacked an autistic man outside Asda in Chandler's Ford after a row with his girlfriend.
The 22-year-old flew into a rage when his partner drove off and set upon his victim who just so happened to be walking by.
Despite the man wearing a lanyard identifying him as autistic, Cocking pummeled the man, punching him in the ribs, knocking him to the ground and stealing his phone.
Daniel Potter
A court heard how Potter regards women as his possession as he was sentenced for harassing and attacking his partner.
Over a two-month period, the 32-year-old abused his girlfriend, raising his fists to her and even throwing rocks through her bedroom window.
Potter, who was drinking heavily at the time, would control her by locking the door and hurling verbal abuse at her if she spoke to other men.
Benjamin Bray
Bray was just 16 when he was spotted in a distressed state with his clothes "disintegrating" at Eastleigh railway station.
A court heard how acid was leaking from a bottle in his bag with a passerby noticing white marks on his coat.
Bray admitted damaging a coat and the carpet behind the driver's cab, as well as possession of a weapon capable of discharging a noxious substance, namely sulphuric acid.
Jason Guthrie
Drug addict Guthrie cleared out his grandmother's bank account whilst using her card to buy her shopping.
A court heard how after suffering an injury, the 43-year-old had slipped into drug use and would withdraw money on his grandmother's card to feed his habit.
In total, he stole £16,000 from his grandmother, who has since died with Guthrie unable to attend the funeral.
