A BUSY route is set to close for 12 nights for roadworks to be carried out.
The Avenue in Fareham will close on Wednesday, March 15, for 12 nights.
The route will be closed between and into the junctions of Bishopsfield Road and Peak Lane.
The road will be closed to traffic between 8pm and 6am, and will remain open outside of these hours.
The council has warned that vehicular access to and from properties during the road closure cannot always be guaranteed.
Residents have been urged to contact a member of the workforce in advance of their journey who will be able to advise if they can accommodate the request.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
