Popular restaurant chain, Karen's Diner, is set to come to Southampton later this month.

The pop-up diner, which went viral on TikTok for its unique approach to customer service, will be visiting the city in the coming weeks.

The American 50s-style diner prides itself on offering "the worst service in Europe whilst ensuring that the New York style food is great".

Customers will be greeted with an attitude or may even be snubbed at the door.

Once seated menus are slammed on the table.

The menu includes "in your face" burgers, sweet treats, thick shakes and Karen's inspired cocktails as well as vegan, vegetarian and alcohol-free options.

Last year, a Southampton pub was booked out in minutes after recreating its own version of Karen's Diner.

Although the experience was similar to Karen's Diner, the inspiration came from Dick's in America, which is known for its vulgar and sarcastic staff.

The chain has multiple restaurants across Australia, the US and the UK - including Birmingham, Manchester and Sheffield.

It will be visiting Southampton from Friday, March 24 to Sunday, March 26 at Orange Rooms in Vernon Walk.

Ryan Blackburn, Managing Director of Karen’s On Tour, said: “Once you’re in a Karen’s you’ll not be thinking about strikes, Brexit or the cost of living, you’ll just be wanting to survive!”

He added: “Customers would need to expect plenty of sass, great food, and a sprinkle of a bad attitude, so don't expect special treatment as it’s all about Karen, and she won't be taking any nonsense!

“All will be able to have fun and wind the staff up to unleash their inner Karen and see their full Karen potential.”
