We would like to thank Swan Support and the RSPCA for responding to our calls for assistance when a badly injured swan was sitting in the mud at the edge of the River Itchen in need of emergency treatment.
They travelled a great distance to Riverside Park and were able to capture the swan to take it to receive the help it needed. Without these wonderful organisations the swan was left to a miserable fate.
Also thanks to the many people expressing concern and offering to phone for assistance.
