A NEW dessert emporium offering sweet treats with extra flair and creativity is set to open at Westquay.

Hans & Gretel is urging diners to indulge their inner child and step into storyland as it prepares to open in the shopping centre's food court.

The venue has promised to offer the very best in experiential desserts, set in fairy-tale surroundings inspired by the age-old tale of Hansel & Gretel.

Linda Lim, co-founder of Hans & Gretel UK, said: "We are thrilled to be opening our first UK location outside of London.

With the dreamiest sweets, the eatery also has Insta-famous bubble waffles served up with creamy handmade gelato in flavours such as strawberries and cream, salted caramel, vegan mango, and indulgent triple chocolate.The dessert business was launched in 2019 and in four years it has stores in Corfu, Dubai, Turkey, Israel, Athens, and further afield.Daily Echo:

The eatery will open at 11am on Friday, April 7.
