THE following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...

ANDREW HENBEST, 37, of Desborough Road, Southampton. Admitted four charges of theft from a shop. Jailed for eight weeks suspended for 12 months and banned from entering any Co-op store in the UK for 12 months.

REUBEN ORMERSHER, 18, of Burnetts Lane, West End. Admitted one charge of common assault. Released on conditional bail until the next hearing on May 10 for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.

THOMAS FULLERTON, 25, of Bluebell Way, Fareham. Admitted one charge of drink driving. Disqualified from driving for 19 months and fined £345. Also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £138 and court costs of £85.

GRAHAM BUDGE, 40 of Purcell Road, Southampton. Admitted one charge of theft from a shop. Jailed for eight weeks suspended for 12 months and banned from entering Food Warehouse, Southampton for 12 months.

TANIQUA SMITH, 34, Bugle Street, Southampton. Admitted one charge of assault by beating. Jailed for a total of 12 weeks.

ROYSTON WALKER, 70, of Neptune Court, Southampton. Admitted two charges of common assault of an emergency worker and two charges of assaulting an emergency worker by beating. Jailed for 18 weeks suspended for 18 months.

ADAM BESTON, 31, of Banning Street, Romsey. Admitted one charge of sending an offensive message. Handed a restraining order banning him from contacting a woman or visiting Chetwynd Drive, Southampton, until 2025. Also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £180 and court costs of £85.

BRIAN KENDALL, 53, of Downtown Road, Southampton. Admitted one charge of criminal damage. Ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 days. Also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £114.

JACK FRENCH, 28, of Charles Knott Garden, Southampton. Admitted one charge of assault by beating in an assault on a man. Handed a restraining order banning him from contacting the victim, and a woman, and visiting an address. Also ordered to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months.
