Days spent socialising with friends in pubs and beer gardens are creeping closer as summer approaches.

But where are the best pubs to visit in and around Southampton?

We are spoilt for choice, so it’s an impossible task to narrow it down to just a handful.

West End Brewery

This well-loved pub in West End was a popular choice amongst readers.

One reader described it as an ‘amazing pub’ with ‘amazing staff and an amazing boss.’

And, it has been the subject of many positive reviews on TripAdvisor, with one reviewer saying 'the general vibe of this establishment is warm and friendly'.
