A video of two groups arguing in Southampton city centre has gone viral after it was posted on TikTok.

The confrontation was caught on camera by Southampton salon owner Aja Ndeye, who was involved in the argument.

Posting the first of five videos to her TikTok account, Aja, who owns Beauty by Aja Ndeye, describes being ‘attacked on the floor’ by a group of people outside her salon.

The video has since amassed over 500,000 views and nearly 3,000 comments on the social platform.

It has also been shared on Twitter.

Filmed from Aja’s perspective, the video shows a confrontation between herself, her sister, a customer, and a group of 10 people.

A man can be heard saying ‘I started it, I started it’ into the camera as Aja responded: “Wait till the police come. You’re attacking women.”

Subsequent videos see Aja go into further detail about the incident.

She said: “It doesn’t make sense we would cause trouble where we work.

“And there are 10 people and we are three small girls.

“It’s stupid to think we can start trouble with 10 people in that matter.”
