Going away for a cruise can be a fun prospect, and if you want to save up for that kind of holiday you are sometimes able to book years in advance.

That is exactly what P&O Cruises have done, having announced a new series of destinations and routes for its summer 2025 season.

Holidays booked by June 5, 2023, and departing between March and October 2025 will receive some extra perks including a 10% guest saving and a 10% deposit offer.

New British Isles cruises

To celebrate its 10-year anniversary, the P&O flagship Britannia will offer guests a homeland adventure on a 14-night British Isles cruise.

Ports of call include Belfast where guests can explore the mythical site of The Giant’s Causeway and an overnight stay in Liverpool.

Additionally, a new 16-night British Isles holiday on board Aurora will call to Waterford (from Dunmore East) in Ireland – a first for the fleet since 2015.

New Mediterranean ports of call

On P&O's newest ship Arvia it will call at two new destinations as part of its Mediterranean route.

It will stop at Toulon in France with shore experiences to St Tropez and Malaga in Spain with shore experiences to the Picasso Museum or hiking the narrow gorge of Caminito Del Rey.

Additionally, a 19-night Mediterranean route on the Arcadia ship will now add Granada in southern Spain to its itinerary with shore experiences to the Alhambra.

New Norway and Scandinavia itineraries

A new 16-night Northern Europe and Scandinavia cruise on the ship Aurora in July 2025 will include ports of call to Copenhagen and Gdansk.

Meanwhile, on Britannia, a new 14-night Northern Europe and Scandinavia cruise in August 2025 will include an overnight port of call to Copenhagen whilst on selected Iona holidays to Norway guests will call at Flåm following successful visits in 2022.

More time in Mediterranean destination

On selected 14-night Mediterranean fly-cruise holidays on board the ship Azura, guests will be able to enjoy two full days in Valletta to spend more time experiencing Malta’s diverse mix of culture, history and beaches.

New USA port of call

On USA and Canada holidays onboard Aurora, guests will call to new port Rockland (Maine), famous for its lobster and windjammer boats
