A BUSINESS is set to relocate to the premises formerly occupied by Gin & Olive.

The restaurant on Above Bar Street closed unexpectedly last year, leaving around 30 members of staff jobless.

The eatery failed to pay rent and service charges totalling over six figures, according to the landlord's solicitors.

However, directors argued the restaurant closed due to a dispute over the building's cladding.

Now, Cube, an electric bike shop, has installed signage over the vacant unit.

The signage reads: "Coming soon. A brand new and exciting bike shop for all your electric and non-electric bike needs. We look forward to seeing you in our new store."

The bike company operates from Brunswick Place, and its moving date is yet to be confirmed.

When open, the store will be selling over 100 electric, non-electric, and children's bikes.

Cyclists will also be able to shop parts and accessories from the Cube and Acid ranges.
