The full list of operational bus cameras in Southampton has been revealed.
A total of five cameras are currently in use across the city, according to a Freedom of Information request.
Submitted to Southampton City Council, the request asks for a 'list of all the cameras' currently active in Southampton.
The cameras are used to stop motorists who are not permitted to drive in bus lanes from doing so.
Only buses, taxis, licensed private hire cars, and cyclists can use bus lanes.
A digital camera system is used to record vehicles that are using them illegally.
And all recordings are checked for mitigating circumstances.

According to the council's website, the penalty for illegally using a bus lane is £70.
This is reduced to £35 if paid within 21 days.
But failure to pay or challenge the issue of a penalty charge notice within 28 days of it being served may result in the charge increasing to £105.
The money made from fines issued is used for the installation, upkeep, and running of the camera system.
