A man was knocked unconscious during an attack outside a cemetery.
The victim was punched in the layby by the cemetery on West End Road on Sunday night.
The incident happened just after 7pm.
Police officers investigating the attack say it occurred after a road rage incident that happened between Hedge End and West End on the B3035.

It involved a white or silver SAAB.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
A spokesperson said: “Were you in the area at the time? Do you have dash cam footage or did you witness the assault?
“Anyone with information is asked to contact us on 101 or via our website, quoting reference number 44230200876.”
