JD Sports is set to open a new, bigger store in Southampton this weekend.
The sportswear giant, which stocks brands such as Nike, Adidas, The North Face and Hoodrich, will relocate to 33/35 in Above Bar Street this Saturday.
The 9,500sq ft unit previously occupied by Topman is more than twice the size of its existing store at the junction between Above Bar Street and Pound Tree Road.
A launch event will take place this weekend with a new customisation bar for trainers and a number of interactive games on offer with the chance to win prizes.
The launch event will also be soundtracked by a signature JD DJ.
The store is due to open at 9am.

The opening times for the new store are:
- Sunday - 11am - 5pm
- Monday - 9am - 7pm
- Tuesday - 9am - 7pm
- Wednesday - 9am - 7pm
- Thursday - 9am - 8pm
- Friday - 9am - 7pm
- Saturday - 9am - 7pm
- Bank holiday Monday May 29: 9am - 6pm
